I've actually got more work in plan B than A, B being in a build-along and a more simple design ::)

Black locust takedown. Home made sleeve, copper and micarta. Pin knocks are buffalo bone and copper. Denim backed. The top and bottom of the backing is wrapped with nylon fly thread (300 yards  >:D) . Last weight was #57 @28. I really don't want to give this one away. That is how I know I've done a good job.

Awesome bows everyone!  Just letting you all know I'm still around. And working on my trade bow.  I had to relocate for work for the summer, but now I'm back in business.

I still have my trade bow dropping moisture in the corner waiting on sinew. There is a remote possibility that I may just say heck with that and build another... have a few im looking at right now.

Nice one Bushboy! Patrick

Missouri, where all the best wood is! Well maybe not the straightest!

Building a bow has been the most rewarding, peaceful, and frustrating things I have ever made with my own two hands!

I really like this one but alas there is always small imperfections!there are a couple of small cracks that developed juring seasoning.they are cosmetic, but I still hate them!in the inner fade where it dosn't bend, may be my ocd?

Well, my bow is nearing completion BUT, the bottom limb has taken more set than I like.  I've heat treated it twice and it has not responded like the top limb.  I'm not happy.  Will most likely start on another bow this coming week.  This is my first trade bow and I'm not satisfied with less than my best.
