I don't own dozens of C-clamps ;( That's the route I would take. What I'm going to do for this bow worked for me in a few other laminated bows I glued together - I'm using a couple of 6 inch C-clamps on the mid-limb posts and one F-clamp for the middle post to hold the bow to the form.  I'll also clamp down the endposts to the 2×4, as there's enough pressure from the tips pushing against them that the posts might slip.  I'll use bicycle inner tubes to bind the lams together.  The tubes do a good job of holding everything together and applying even pressure.  I'll use spring clamps to hold the tube ends in place and use squeeze clamps to reinforce the pressure at the ends so that the walnut and bamboo form to the flipped osage tips.

Status update ;D
Got it back to 28" and I'm about 5lbs heavy tomorrow I'm going to start sanding it up and put a finish on unless someone sees a problem.

Alright fellas here's some pics of the two bows I have pert near ready to go.

First up is the rock elm with light sinew and snakeskin cloth backing.

I played around with the staining until I was able to suggest  a belly scale pattern. I kinda like it. It adds to the overall look.




Next is the hornbeam mollie with wood burnt levers showing the leaves and "fruit" of the tree.




I'm leaning toward the first one simply because it's a better shooter. Unless heat treating the belly on #2 gives it a huge boost in performance I think it will be the rock elm. I figured I'd show them both cause they both look pretty good, but when it comes to launching arrows there is a clear winner.

I'll try to do some full draws tomorrow, but it's pretty late on the weekend and if I go outside drawing bows at this hour, I may attract unwanted attention and possible over reaction.
