Winner, Winner, Chicken dinner! I got my bow from Mo Coon Catcher today. Man o man is it sweet. Turkey feather backed yew mollie. already put a couple dozen bullets thru it and it is smooth and really fun to shoot. Will get pics up when my wife gets home. Thanx again Kyle, for such a beautiful bow.

Well, here's how everything looks on the form (the dry-run):



I thought I was setting up the ruler so the 24" line was in line of the middle of the form, but I accidentally set it so it was in the center of the bow (1/2" to the left).  The bottom limb is on the right; top on the left.  I'm not sure if this is exactly how I want to set the bow up when I do glue it together (I was trying to get the deflex in the middle of each limb - between the tip and the center of the handle).  In fact, I know for sure I want to move the end posts further away from the center (closer to the ends of the tips).   But the short and skinny is it fits on the form and nothing cracked when I clamped it down!

I forgot the bicycle tubes at home, so I'll most likely glue this puppy up tomorrow morning!

Glad you like it stix. There's actually a heavy later of sinew hiding under those feathers. That's actually a piece of ERC with 4 slices of cherry in each of the levers. And it will probably pick up some weigt over time since I tillered it out with the humidity running in the 80-90* range. Ainew backed cedar makes for a snappy little bow, don't it.  That was probably my favorite of the bows I've built. It was a pain in the butt, but it's smooth, shoots well, and weighs next to nothing.

That is a beautiful work of art Kyle.

I sent mine out. It got to the sorting facility and it hasn't moved since 0142 yesterday am. Kinda worries me cause last time I had a stave get stuck it showed up a month later almost split in two.

Ty that looks pretty hot.  That second profile also looks like it will be easier to tiller.  How do you clamp the lams together?  Do you do it with a bunch of C-clamps, or do you wrap with inner tubes, or both??
