He said he'd send me some shafting material and some leather.  I hope nothing bad befell him, he seemed like a pretty nice guy.

Well, moving is a big bother!  I'm still looking for stuff I packed 20 years ago!  New jobs are a challenge, getting rid of free stuff is a pita and a cash outlay on his part.  None of us are out any money or trade goods.  Patience, Grasshopper!  If it doesn't arrive, maybe he changed his mind, ran out of cash, or was eaten by a troll! >:D!!  No sweat!  On the other hand, I will be disappointed that the deal fell through.  Might even drive me to drink!  Good whisky, of course!

I'll drink to that!  Tullamore DEW on the rocks, water back!  Btw, I'm trying to figure out how to post the video of my poem " Paddy Mc Kinney".  Sort of hit a blank getting it from Jacie's phone to posting! >:D

Here is a message I got from Jackson Cash on Jan. 18.

"Pat, I can send you both staves - there is a bark inclusion that may prevent a single piece bow form either stave, but both could be billets.

Jason is perfectly normal dude and not a scammer. My guess is moving his young family out of state took precedence over shipping free stuff to you guys. He asked for local pick up and ended up being asked to ship it all overl. Sure, he should have just said no thanks, but I suppose he wanted to try anyway. Nobody lost a penny and nobody lost any goods. You just didn't get your free stuff.

I was hesitant to jump in but I know him from Marshall. He is extremely nice and thoughtful guy. I'll guarantee you guys he had no bad intentions going into this.

I wouldn't count him out yet either, I wont be surprised if a few items find new homes as the weeks go by.

Sorry, my post was probably misleading. I mean as a nonmember Jackson Cash can not answer here or even not read...
