Lots of stuff to give away
« on: December 17, 2018, 02:52:20 pm »
Hey folks-
Wife and I are relocating due to work, and I have to downsize a few hobbies. I have several HHB staves, a couple of yew staves, some miscellaneous knives, about 40  river cane shafts, and some leather, rawhide, and other bits and bobs. I'll get a full list up once I get home and can go through it.

If you are around the Bay City, MI area, I can PM you and we can meet up to go through stuff as well.
Not looking for anything in return on this stuff, just want it to go to some place it'll see some use.

I also have a stave press. Again, I'll be putting up pictures hopefully tonight.
Also, I will work diligently to get this stuff out to you guys, but with the holidays and getting ready for the move, it won't be my #1 priority, so please have patience.

Better late than never, here's some pictures:

The staves, knives, and shafts are all claimed, but I found a few things that I'd forgotten about. Let me know if anything catches your eye, and anyone who's been looking into the staves, you should see all the sides in the pictures above. If you see something that makes you not want them anymore, let me know and I'll go down the list.

I'll be PMing people after Christmas for any shipping details I need to work out. I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas.

I dont know what your plan is for the yew, but id like to talk to you about it, i need some. Two staves to make two ELBs actually.

I'd like a stave.  If it's not too much trouble, that is.  Just gave my bow to my son for Christmas (And don't regret it at all!)

Hey Jackson, how's Henry? He must be almost 4 now? I'm about an hour from Bay City. Not sure what you've got left. If you want to feel free to pm me.
Merry Christmas and I wish you a Happy New Year.

Just a quick update - I've been working late getting stuff ready for my departure, so I haven't had much time to get pictures, but I'm still trying. It'll be after Christmas before I start getting things shipped out. Which brings me to a question- whats the preferred method to ship staves?

I have PMed folks. Just handling it first come first served. If you didn't get a reply no hard feelings, I just ran out of stuff. As of now, it looks like everything is claimed. Once I get it all shipped out I'll PM people with what shipping cost.

I haven't heard from him in a while either.  Guessing he's up to his eyeballs in moving.and settling in his new place.
