Was just fine, starting to look promising, and then a line of Chrysals just showed up all of a sudden right at the top fade next to a TINY little pin knot that wasn't as big as a gnat's eyeball!  -OneBow

BTW - In case anyone ever asks you, a three pound maul will make fibers and shards of kindling out of an Oak 1X2 in about twenty to twenty-five blows.  >:(

I was hoping to make a 35# red oak board bow with bubby's tutorial dimensions as a total newb.. not going to MoJam though

Three of us had shootin' bows. Dave almost made it to the line, but couldn't quite get done in time.
Lebhuntfish, JonW, and I each fired about dozen arrows at the streaking porker. And all scored hits. His ham section was mostly riddled.   :o

That was a bit of fun. We forgot to take pictures!!

It was fun to shoot with you guy's.  Mine shot like crap. I think it drawer some moisture on that hickory backing. Mine will probably blow. It had another fret after the shoot.
