Got some more done. I've decided I'm going to build up the grip a bit for a medium high wrist, mostly becuase that's what I've been loving recently  ::)

Bocote overlays and a slightly snaky lever. Had to do it ;) It's 52" ntn, going to give it a little r/d.

Might as well make them short, save some wood to keep warm.

Thats sweet! If I ever want to trade for a molly, I know who I would ask! Looking good!

Mine is still standing in the corner, floor tillered. I have been so busy, and frankly kinda out of the mood. But I've been bitten by the bug again today but will have to wait till Monday. Watch out Osage, here I come! Patrick

Well added some heat to get tips lined up. Now while I let it set I will work on a hickory pyramid bow. So either could be my bow or neither you know how that goes.

I'm finishing up my trade bow as well. Few more coats of finish, and a fancy handle wrap. Hoping to send it off in the next week

Ok I got a bit done this weekend by no means a finished bow but progress. I heated up the osage bow for the second time and I think I have the tips close enough to tiller it a bit now. I did some scraps on the hickory pyrmid bow. I will try and get pics up late this week of my progress.

I haven't worked on my bow all week, went to the ER. Dr said I have the worse sinus infection he's ever seen. The left side of my head seriously feel likes its gonna blow up, and someone is poking my eye out from behind. I can barely open my eye and its bright red. I've never felt stuff like this before. Catscan just said it's a really massive sinus blockage/infection. I just want it to be over. The put me on a new set of mess via the other ones didn't help. Send some good vibes my way of your could fellas.

Gonna try and make it through work and get a sting made tonight. The other was shorter than planned. I guess I'm a little rusty

Got it to full brace and back to about 15" then heat treated. just glued up some zebra wood block for the overlays. When the glue is dried in the morning I'll work on narrowing the tips and bringing it to weight. Being black locust I would normally trap the back but I'm debating if it's worth trying with there being several drying cracks and several pin knots. I'll decide that when I get a little further along.

Aw, that doesn't need trapping. It's a beautiful snaky piece!
