Smoking pipes

I am looking for old pipes that no one uses any more and would be willing to trade for some archery stuff.  As long as they can be restored to a smoking condition would be great.  Even busted ones that have good stems or bowls and no stems.  I know there are plenty laying around out there, so any help would be greatly appreciated.  And yes, this is primitive archery, as I will smoke it when hunting.  It would be nice to have some pipes from some of the best group of guys on the net, and take a part of you with me in the woods.

I have cane,  some string material, lots of shoot arrow shafting, sinew, and maybe a stave or two here that I can let go.  And I have several pieces of ground obsidian for flake over grinding and a few pieces of mix/match flint or what ever it is.  If you have something special in mind, let me know?

Now I know there are plenty of old pipes laying around in some of the people on here. Help me out to build a Primitive Archery Smoking Pipe collection.  Sure would love to hear from some of you.

Hmmm...  I smoke a pipe when camping but not hunting.  Doesn't the smoke scare things away?  Yes, I'm a smartass, but I've never tried smoking while on the hunt.  How do you do it?

And I do have some old wooden pipes hanging around but I use them all.  ;D

Jack I have killed deer with a cigarette in my mouth.  Some of the scented tobaccos can even be an attractant to an certain extent. Apple flavor.  For me it is nothing more than the pure pleasure of a relaxing smoke while hunting.  Lot of stories of old of primitive hunters going in a smoke lodge before a hunt.  It is just something I  like, enjoy and make the hunt, especially if it is in a pipe that was from another traditional bow hunter.  Having some of his spirits with me.

Charlie, mountain laurel root is supposed to be almost as good as meerschaum for pipe bowls.

I've made pipes out of it and it didn't hurt me.  :-\   I believe there used to be a pipe industry using Mt Laurel(Kalmia latifolia) here in the mountains a hundred years ago.

I always wanted a pipe to smoke apple scented out of.. Being an English major I felt it was my duty to. When I lived in California and was 17 I walked into a gas station and asked for an old looking wooden pipe. Well they had ALL kinds of pipes and the clerk was certain I really wanted a pipe for smoking drugs. I had to convince him that no!! I wanted an old pipe for plain jane tobacco.
