Very nice tri-lam ELB... my favourite type of bow. Excellent tiller. When making tri-lams, I usually try and keep the backing lam and the core lam the same thickness (about 1/4") to give me more belly wood to work with, especially at the tips.

Thank you! :). Believe it or not, I just measured and the yellow heart core on this one, and it is only 3/16", might be 7/32" in some places. I think I might of just removed alot off the tips. It seems the more I reflex the stave, the thinner the tips will be in the end, plus it's ipe. I know it seems the ipe is really thin at the tips. Maybe I should consider tapering my cores? Although part of me doesn't have a problem with minimal ipe at the tips, it does make better sense to have equal parts consistently.

Thank ya!

Nice bow dude.
If you want to avoid those bits where you sand throught the edge of the nock use a smaller drill bit for drillinjg the horn. For ipe and other dense woods I start off with a 12mm flat wood bit then grind the edges off to give the triangle. Your edges are disappearing because the wood bit you use is a little too big. I use 1/2 inch ones when using less dense wood.
