I'd be proud to receive any one of the bows being worked on so far! Man this is gonna be fun :) I got a couple in the works, I'll try and post some pics before 2 long :)

Flintwalker that bend is looking stellar. Really nice. Have'nt started mine yet cuz I got 2 to get done before I can, But its coming and I love the guy I'm building for so i am really looking forward to getting it started. I'll post when I do get started.   Danny

Here is where I am and also my dilemma. Im an admitted reflexaholic. I know I have a problem as I battle it everyday. This bow is about 56" ntn. It has some cool wiggles and that half knot above the grip is cool. The draw weight is right up there at 26-27". No, the bottom limb isnt shorter, its just the angle. It shoots hard and accurate at 12-15 yards in the basement. My dilemma is the profile...............I need reflex to be happy with bows I build. We all have our quirks, and thats mine. I cant ask this stick to do anymore than it is without lessening weight, I aint doin' that!

That looks good to me PD. A 56" bow with a 27" draw and no stringfollow, it dont get much better than that. Well I guess it could get better than that, like say if it still had some reflex ;D ;D. Not helping your addiction much am I??? Im slowly becoming a reflex addict myself. I used to be perfectly happy if I built a bow and it ended up with a straight profile or even a little stringfollow, not so much anymore.

Man Pearly that bow looks to stand straight and pretty as is. Looks like you have slightly flipped tips too. I love some reflex too but I also
love a perfectly straight profile with those tips just as much as any amount of reflex. You took the first step by admitting your problem,
reflexaholic, now just learn to let go cause thats a damn fine bow in my book.  :)

I think reflexing this bow may not significantly improve its performance, and possibly (even likely?) its tinkering with a good thing. I'd love to see a braced profile, but I'm betting you should leave it.

The bow is straight, no flipping. Gabe the bow braced looks just like a typical semi rigid bow should. It looks great at full draw in the mirror to. Its just that reflex thing of mine...........NO OKIE YOU AINT HLEPING!!!!!!

And one more thing............this whole swap thing would be MUCH easier if it was all about the bow we are getting!

If'n it were me Pd, I would just mildly flip the last 6-8" and then tiller it back down to weight in the inner and mid-limbs causing it to take just a little bit of set and then you got yourself an r/d. I know you know all that yourself, just lettin you know what I would do :D ;D. Or you can just leave it as is.

I hear ya on the reflex thing Pearl Drums, but when I go hunting, the bows with a straight profile or a bit of set are what I like the most. I know I would be happy with it.
