My second bow

Hi everybody! This is my second bow. I made it for my girlfrend. Draw weight is 33#@ 27'' and lenght is 64''. Made from ash, 2 layers of sinew and ostrich leg rawhide backing. This bow is not ready jet. Its waiting for oiling and handle covering.

one heck of a sinew job!! like the skin,never seen that on a bow. You sure that is only your second bow?

that looks great, well done on your second bow, im working on mine now  :D. did you kill the ostrich yourself or can you buy ostrich skins?

Looks like a Molle with some reflex? Ohhhh man, really nice shape and that ostrich is killer.

I love that ostrich, and the shape of the bow is unique.  My ma has Emus, now I'm gonna be huntin 'em...

This is the beauty of the PA family right here.  Those of us that started building bows 25 years ago built many  bows that all looked pretty much the same, or like those of the people we worked with.  It took years to master the cool backings and finishes.  Now, with all the information at your finger tips here, people are turning out beautiful and unique bows right out of the box.  Excellent finish work.  I'm anxious to see the money shot.
