ok so i finally finished the sheath, knife too.

so i was wondering, should i post pics or wait for the lucky,or unlucky, recipient to post pics?

i will say that making the sheath was actually harder for me than making the knife, so i will apologize to the individual
in advance for my poor leatherman abilities.as far as the knife itself goes i hope he enjoys and likes it,as it is only my second one. i made
my first one exactly like his,it was my demo/prototype knife.

                                                                                   tim

i always wanted a harley, untill it became the "thing to ride"
i ride because i love to,not to be part of the crowd

Tommy, Got home today and had a great looking knife and Sheath waiting for me. Thanks a lot ,buddy, I'll get some pictures up tomorrow. Tommy are you related to a Tye Thacker up near Wichita Falls, Scotland to be exact?

I am glad that you like your knife ;D

I have never heard of him, but I will ask some of my family.

Eddie hope ya like it :) The handle is a bit oversized to the blade but in my own defense it gets cold up here and them small handles and frozen hands usually lead to bloodshed :D My own that is ;)

I think the handle fits real nice. I forgot about the Abalone until I was sharpening it and caught a reflection in the blade. That's cool. They are both face hair shavers after a session on my wheels. Thanks, Guy's.

First knife is on its way to John Holman! John you are now the happy owner of a Northwest designed obsidian knife with cedar wood handle and sheath. The obsidian is a red from Glass Buttes OR and the handle is Old Growth cedar while the sheath is 2nd growth. I thought it would be cool to see the growth ring differences.

John can you put a picture of it up on the site when you receive it in the mail? I don't have a camera yet so I could not do it myself!
