I started sanding my knife today and found a small fracture in the edge.  I was able to grind it out and reshape the blade.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I certainly hope there aren't anymore Clint. I'm sure Jeb is gonna want to do a strength test. Probably chop some bone or Antler.

That's the only fracture in it BJ.  I hope Jeb doesn't chop any antlers or railroad spikes with it.  This knife is built for skinning Michigan whitetails, not chopping anything.

I was able to grind past it without loosing too much of the shape.  My blade is sanded and ready for scales now.

Still have a lot of sanding to do but wanted to see how my homemade Micarta would look, black paper and burlap

Looks awesome Bubby.

I have my scales shaped and sanded.  Just needs sharpened and a sheath.

I watch forged in fire don't play it so I will be leaving steel alone. YUP going to cut me up some deer meat with that Clint.

That burlap micarta turned out awesome! I’ve seen some that I really didn’t like because it looked like the fabric simply stacked up and the outer layer was very one dimensional looking.... yours has depth and looks great. Changed my mind on that concept.
