That's good bubby I was kinda hoping for a surprise. I'm sure I'll be happy with anything you make. I did get a little work done on my trade knife today. Im liking how it's coming.

I haven't been able to start on my knife yet.  I've been working a lot of extra hours and have had some life issues to deal with.  I haven't had any shop time.  I'm hoping to get started on it soon.

I got three blades ready for HT yesterday, but one might need a little file work

Well this doesn't look like much but at least I got a start.  I built a fire and tossed in a few files and a couple of pieces of industrial cutter blades.  I let it burn while I spent 4.5 hours mowing and raking the yard.  It got away from me since I haven't had time to mow it.

I'm hoping the steel will be soft and annealed by tomorrow.  The fire was still going when I came inside at dark.  Somewhere in that bed of coals is a handful of future knives.

I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Looks like a good start Clint. Maybe you need to add a fan to that  fire pit. I know how the stuff around home can get away on ya.

Nice teaser picture Clint. Mine is almost ready if I don't do something extra. Been so busy it might just be it.
