Pappy, sometimes I get into a stalk that takes me far, far from the vehicle. Assistance, or even access to assistance, can be a bit of a stretch. There was once I shot a deer 3/4 mile from the vehicle but only 200 yds off a road. I hiked back to the truck and drove 31 miles to get around to the road where the deer was located. THAT is why I want a complete but condensed utility pack! Well, that and if I do all the over-thinking now, it saves panic the night before opening day! It's something to keep my mind busy mulling over in the meanwhile!
Now, somewhere in the Black Hills a big old buck is saying to a turkey, "Listen here, Tom. Remember this spring when I busted cover in front of that clown that was looking to put you in the ground? Well I hear he drew a tag. You owe me, Tom, you OWE me!"
