Nice buy, Clint. The 48" is a 1976. The other one looks like a Kodiak magnum, 52". If you want to get the paint off take a rag and moisten it with acetone and start scrubbing. Don't soak the bow with it as you lay separate the limbs if you get it too wet. You know the safety precautions dealing with acetone. Have fun, it's not easy.

Yep, I'd take that over the file any day.

That rat tail turned out very nice, Bubby.

We went over to my brothers house for the Easter evening and after sittin on the couch for a minute, someone says "let's go looks for mushrooms." So we drove to a spot, piled out, and almost immediately started findin fungus. One of the best morel hunts I've ever been on and the kicker was havin all the kids there to help find them. Ended up with 11lbs of these high priced little beauties!

Time we got home we were hungry, so we threw elk steaks on the grill and shrooms in the fryer.

Hope your Easter was as blessed as ours was.

I love looking at everyone's pics.  I wish I could work metal.  So many things I'd like to make.

I posted this saw a few pages back.  I made a table system and some lumber.  Hoping to make a table from the boards.

Nice setup Steve. Aren't you worried about the saw rusting?

Nice boards.  I'm guessing the saw is on a roller base.  It's nice to be able to roll it outside to keep the dust out of the shop.
