Thanks Eddie and Paul. I was going to put a little on a rag and scrub the paint with it. I might just stick with the acetone.

I looked it up and this is what is in Goof Off.
Methoxydiglycol 1-5%
Xylene (mixed isomers) 90-95%

I scrubbed off all of the spray paint with acetone. There was a couple of beautiful bows under all of that gunk.
The 55 lb bow has some good looking wood in the riser. It's my favorite out of the two.

Xylene is some nasty stuff to play with. I'll take acetone anyday. I really like the black one myself. I'll trade you a matching 52" for the black one.

Love those older Bear bows.
In the same theme of the thread here the wife and I found a nice leather recliner at the Goodwill yesterday. And,being as it was "old fart" discount day, we got it for 30 bucks.

I stopped at an antique swap meet on my way to work this morning. I left with 3 pieces of cast iron.

Those look like campfire cast iron. Do you reseating them or leave them be for wall hangings

Greg Sulfridge is the Cast Iron King.
I'm going to strip them down and reseason them.

Got these cast aluminum pots, skillets, fryer, and griddle at my granny's auction. Man they cook good food. Can't use the griddle we have a smooth top stove.
