Honeysuckle two fletch arrow
« on: May 29, 2015, 07:06:46 pm »
A little Canada goose two fletch honeysuckle arrow. Honeysuckle is a bit on the fragile side like phragmites but still seems decent. Plugged the natural holes at the ends with ground down bamboo chop sticks. I've always found this two fletch style interesting and was inspired by seeing Badly Bent's two fletchers in person at the Marshall shoot this weekend.

Very nice, how does honeysuckle do with heat straightening?  I have some close to me, but have not tried it yet.

It straightens super easy. I just did this one with out heat as it dried. It doesn't stay straight as well as some other materials but the heat treating of the outer surface helped with that. I'm super pleased with how the fletch style shoots. Easy as good as any 3 fletch style I've tried.

Good looking arrow Dan and the bamboo skewers work well for filling the hollow pith channel. Lots of good and straight honeysuckle to be had around our area as you know. I like the cut on your two fletch also, bet they fly quiet with the goose feathers.
I ain't broke but I'm badly bent.
