This is my favorite bow. Chased a ring on a hickory board. Simple bend through the handle 60# @ 27"  if my life depended on me hitting a 2" taget at ten yards(which i can do now) then this is the bow i would pick up.

It would have to be my bendy handled osage - I shoot the best with it, plus it is the first self bow I made.

It's 58" TtT and about #50 @ 28". It's only about 15/16" at the widest point

my favorite has to be this one.
It was my first osage orange bow. 69", 55 pounds @ 28. my scale had originally said 45, and that's what I wrote on the bow's limb, but I always thought it was a bit heavy...then I used a real bow scale and got 55.
it shoots real nice, and I don't notice any handshock.

I've noticed that most of these favorites are coming right in around 50-55 lbs. Shows just how important a comfortable draw is.

Mine is a 55 lb at 28 inch maple backed cherry bow. Hunted a bit with it last year unsuccessfully, but now that I've got a rifle deer under my belt, this will be the only weapon at my side next season.

My favorite is usually the one I just finished.

Me too.   :)

My latest is a 60" hickory D bow, 55lb @ 27".  A real simple stick, bends slightly through the handle, has a little over an inch of string follow, but really shoots nice.  It is a real contender for my hunting bow next season.  I have built several recurves, molles, shorties, etc...  but when it comes time to hunt, I find myself reaching for a D style bow every time.

I like the snake skin backed one. It is 55 at 27. It has almost no hand shock and hits were I look. Point on distance with 29 inch cedar arrows is 48 yards. It is fast
