flea market find
« on: May 24, 2013, 01:12:09 pm »
Yesterday my brother and i got our tools out for the first time since the classic and noticed we were missing a draw knife. Guess we must have missed it when we were packing up. So today started a flea market a few miles from home that is only held twice a year and i found a guy that had three draw knives and a spoke shave that i picked up for 60 bucks. A 10" ,9"and a 8" and a 2" spoke shave all of the draw knives already cleaned up and sharpened. Spoke shave needs a little work (has a missing screw) but is in good shape.

RidgeRunner, the fence post still looks the same as it did at the classic. I still need to finnish a bow for the bow trade before i mess with it any more.

osage outlaw, that draw knife has adjustable handles. I have a smaller version of it that ive had for a few years that the handles are rotten on and the adjustable parts are all rusted together. Been meaning to try to refurbish it but just never got around to it yet.

Good finds Turtle at a great price. I found one of those adjustable types that you have at an antique store a while back and added it to my "collection".
