Here is another attempt on the Beveled Bolen, I got a real nice bevel going but it is hard to show in the pics. Grizzly style broadheads were probably copied from a Bevled Bolens and markted like it was something new.
Thanks for lookin. Bob

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

Here's mine, the rock is Buffalo River, and I took about 15 pictures trying to get a shot with the bevel. I give up, the flash kept washing it out. The core is from some Primo rock I got from Cowboy yesterday I was itching to hit on. Oh, it's going in the kiln

The head on shot shows your bevels real well, I really like the looks of that Buffalo River. Bob

Thanks, Bob, first chance in a while I've had time to play in the pit. It's back to gator hunting, again.

Nice core Eddie and Bolen!
Made blade core. Its KY Blue and done with whitetail tine punch.
Copper punches dont have the range.
#1 trick is to have a solid anvil.

No blade cores for me. I might try it with a piece of obsidian at some point, but later...
I tackled the bolen this morning and came up with a decent attempt (for me.)
