Holy cow, these are hard...  I stopped before I was finished to take a picture of this one, figuring I'd break it which I did shortly after the picture was taken.  O well, I'm too frustrated to try much more so this is my attempt.

And here are the failures, most of which will morph now into other styles.  The little stemmed point was a huge spall, and is the broken one I posted the other day.  It was so large I made 2 attempts at Gunthers, breaking off an ear on both and still had enough flint left for a hunting point.  What a waste of flint!

I can't imagine how fragile the glass and obsidian must be when I'm knocking the ears off flint with ease.

Well, I'm going from the Pics here and memory and this is what I came up with.

I believe this is one of the last pieces of coral I got from Eddie a few years back. Pretty rock and works well once it's been heated.

One more try.  This time, out of a platinum bottle.  I broke a barb early on so it ended up smaller than intended.  I put one of my hunting points next to it for size reference.  The corner notched point is ks flint hills chert.  Sweet points so far!  Keep em coming!  Josh

Well, December is here.  May I be so bold as to suggest the pine tree for this month?  Josh
