Hi Guys,

Thanks again for the comments.  John, the knife has a 125mm / 5 inch working blade length, with a max width of 28mm / just over 1 inch.  The knife type is more for a drawing type cut than a push-type cut, but I think it gives great lines and a measure of that classic Scandi shape.  In the sheath the overall length is 240mm / 9.6 inches.

Eric, I'm not that disappointed with the sheath, but I think I could have done better.  There's always the next one.  ;D  It is a bit lumpy, and not as smooth as I had hoped, especially around the 'foot' or drain area.  I'm guessing this is because I used thick leather pieces to reinforce the blade area, whereas I perhaps should have used some better fitting and smoothed light wooden pieces, as I believe is more traditional.  My next knife is in glue up, and when it is made I'll try to do a stitch-along as it is done.

Love that one, great work on the handle and sheath. That would make a great skinning knife, just about the right size. :)
