I'm gonna have to find some of that brown glass. Cool point Eddie - looks like ya e-notched it a little. Looks like Dana's getting better too - nice pernts..

Really nice points everyone.I think this month challenge was a great way for us to learn a bit more about a good quality hunting point, and how better to make them. The animals this fall don't stand a chance? ;)

I made this one out of some broken blue glass found along the road.   It looked like it might have been an old jar.  I used the biggest piece left from the bottom.   Managed to get the curve out, but is smaller than I wanted.   This one weighs in at about 110 grains.

opened up a new box-o-rocks  ;D ;D and had to have another go at thia challange.Actually I want to see which style hafts up nicer on an arrow.So here's a 2,3,5 and E notch

Nice points! My knapping kit just got here from twin oaks in the mail. Yep! I left my tools behind by accident. I hope to have a few done by the end of this weekend.
