Frank: the diameter of the stem was about 12cm / 5".

Comix: It seems, that I either don't build bows for quite a while and when I start again, I make two or three in a row.

Great looking bow.  The detail work on the tips and the grip are great.  Those skins really set it off.  Nice work.

  That turned out great and I would defiantly agree that laburnum is a great bow wood. Just need to be carefull of the toxic dust. It has some beautiful grain and is very strong. So, here's the matching knive:

I Had a small pieve of snakeskin left, wich braught me to the idea to use it with a knivesheath. The knive is made from the same stuff than the bow, laburnum und buffalohorn. The spacers are nicklesilver.
The Blade is handforged by Gunnar Bergström from Sweden.
