Well deer hunting is off to a slow start. I had some close encounters and missed one at 35 yds. I hit my sleeve and shot low. I went out for pheasant today and was blessed with a clean kill at 15 yds. It didn't really even flinch. It will make a great meal for my wife and I if I can get another one.  These guys are a blast to hunt.  :)

Jesse, was this a wing shot or on the ground?...not that it matters. ;D  Good shooting

Pat this was on the ground. He was hiding in the brush and just his head was visible. I drew back on one flying at close range but just didn't let go for some reason ??? Next time :)

Great shot.  I tried several times hunting phesant with a bow, but no luck.  Where i live, there are not many phesant, so I was just lucky to see a bird.  The few I did see, I missed.

Nice shootin Jesse, congrat's. You should try some of that wing shootin. I would imagine that would give a feller a great sense of satisfaction if he connected. Ya might cry over all the lost arra's though ;D.

Paul I agree it would feel good to shoot one out of the air. I'm actually not bad at aerial targets but live game is a bit different.
