A few weeks after returning home from the Tenn Classic I was going through my knapping stuff and found a preform in my bucket.
How it got there I have no idea but my thanks to whoever
I think its Cowboy flint. I had to do some percussion work to thisn it some
and then finished it up with pressure flaking. Hafted to elk antler with gut and a few coats of true oil. The sheath was more work than the
blade. As much as I would like to keep this I will be sending it out as part of the KITH
Hope someone likes it as much as I do.
The pic with the pat is Bo's first bird, for those that don't know Bo is one of Pappy's dog Hannahs' pups. This was his first flush and I managed to shoot
it on the wing. Bo even fetched him, didn't want to give it to me but he did retrieve it
