Glove or tab???

Do you guys shoot with a shooting glove or a tab? Personally I shoot with a pair of tight leather gloves that were like 5 bucks.They where light tan so I camoed them with some walnut stain.

yup bare hand here too, never even think of a glove or anything untill after about 60 shots then my shoulders are shot anyhow so no worries

When I shot wheels I used a tab but since I started trad I went to a glove. My main reason was to keep from dropping or loosing a tab. With the glove attached to my wrist, if I drop it, so go I!
I have always liked the feel of the string on my fingers and a glove gives me the protection my hands need but I can still feel the string. I prefer a Damascus glove. I have tried a super glove and it was nice but for the difference in price the Damascus works fine.     Pat

tab. make my own, cut out of plain leather with no spacer.  usually keep a spare in my pocket

Bare handed usually.  I use a tight, full glove when shooting over 55#...not one of those 3-finger jobs..

Niether most of the time, but during late season 80# on cold fingers hurts worse than any blister or cut could. So I made a simple little leather tab. I tried making a glove, but my original model kept falling off my fingers, and I had trouble aligning the arow from my quiver without being able to feel it on the sides of my digits.

A mid-heavy weight leather glove by Grizzly.  I've tried tabs, and don't like them.  Thin deerskin, calfskin, and nylon tipped gloves are too thin.  Cordovan and those with hard inserts are too stiff to feel my anchor.  I'm picky on their fit, wanting snugness, with finger openings that are shorter than my own fingers, so that there is no extra leather hanging off the end.  As such, I only buy them at bigger shoots where there are a bunch setting out on a table to try on.  I might go through 20 or 30 to find the "perfect" one.  I try to stock up when I can, since I go through one or two a year.

Tab.  Don't really have a reason for using one rather than a glove.  You guys have me thinking about the bare handed deal.  Less equipment less problems.

               Just takes a bit to get the Fingertips toughened up...but if it's under 60 pounds....it's no problem

Bare fingered unless shooting 90#+ and with a skinny string...Then I prefer a glove....
