Very Cool, very classy. I rarely see horn nocks on a flatbow, I thought I was one of only a few that does it. They look really good, especially with yew.

Great attention to detail. I really like it.

This is very nice bow! I wish I had good quality yew!

How long this bow is? What is that dark area under the black nock?

thanks guys! this is basically the bow and design you will find in the books and howto's of the early past century - it was the the early days of the asl. its described like that by howard hill and others...and they also suggested hornnocks like that. At that time it was the logic further development of the victorian longbow which was the dominant design up to then - see e.g. Saxton Pope.
I like this design very much.
Tuomo, its somewhat 66" ntn. the dark area? probably you mean that brown rest of bark? ....this stave didn't ask for sap-reduction - it therefore still shows some remaments of bark and bast.
cheers
