Two piece laminate bamboo bow ?

Looking for some help and advice from the experts . Regarding a two piece ( back and belly ) Bamboo bow ?
Looking at building a 64" (total length ) bamboo laminate bow . I have the woodworking skills to complete the build but would appreciate some help with certain aspects of the build .
First of all Ive come to the conclusion that around 64" in length is around average length ? but practically could it be made shorter ? 60" would be ideal ?
Looking at achieving a 30lb draw weight / 27" draw length
Widest section of the bow (where handle transitions into the limbs , just over 1  1/2" (4cm) .
Narrowest section of handle ( centre)  1"
Thickness of Handle around  1"
Width at the tips  between  1"  and  3/4"
I take it when using two bamboo laminates back and belly that the taper from handle to tips is basically one straight line ? and not slightly angled as in a flat bow further up the limbs ?

a straight line taper in width from fades to tip will call for no taper in thickness, theoretically.

if the belly in your design is the outer surface of the bamboo (where the strongest fibers are), then carefull thicknessing of the lams should help prevent the need for thickness reduction on those strongest fibers while tillering, in other words, you could plan to tiller the sides of the glued up bow if the bend needs adjustment

when you say 2 piece bamboo bows are you referring to just boo backed and bellied bows with no core wood?  ive done both and find they both work well.  here are some pics of some of the ones ive done.  using just bamboo for back and belly is a bit more challanging but still doable.  I use heat treated belly boo.

First of all , thanks for your replies Lads . Yeh I am just talking about a plain bamboo back and belly bow without any core wood . However I did watch a video by " Wooden Ren " where he integrated a hardwood handle piece ( probably around 8" in length and not too much thickness   ) into the belly of the bow by slightly recessing it by cutting away the bamboo ? First time Ive seen this method but it does make sense . The handle section was finished off by wrapping it in rattan which looked nice and probably gave a good secure bind to the handle .
