Very special gift
« on: May 18, 2025, 06:46:19 pm »
I got a really big surprise at the Classic this year, really touched me and was very much appreciated, Just had to show it off here. The idea came from Arvin, a very good friend of mine and a good friend to a lot on here, he is a very thoughtful and generous guy to say the least. He had a little help from a couple more good friends to pull it off , they built it right under my nose with me being none the wiser. Arvin/Weylin and Kenny Cartwright came together with their talent to build one beautiful bow. Thanks guys, the pictures don't do it Justice. It shoot like a dream and hope to put some meat on the ground with it come fall. It is from a beautiful piece of Osage, 67 N-N 47@26 PERFECT !!!!!!! it also skins/handle dimpled and some beautiful carving is the handle area, a work of art. I added a striker plate and shelf pad and 4 coats of tru oil. Hope yall like it I know it is a treasure for me. :)

Those three are heavy hitters, no doubt. The only thing better than their bows is the pleasure of their company!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
