Yew stave Meare Heath style

Starting a Meare Heath style Yew bow, won't be replica as mt stave is 64" by 2". Have to square the stave to fit the bow in and remove bark and sapwood before rough out! May be able to keep 2" across the grain.

Don't remove the sapwood. Make it even thickness, 1/4" or so and start building.

Got it! first to get the very rough shaping on the belly! Then manage the honey do list and couple other projects that are hanging fire!
