Adding tannin to hide glue?
« on: December 18, 2024, 05:50:29 pm »
One of the TBBs mentions adding tannin to hide glue to make it more water resistant.  I have never been able to find any specifics about how much to add, how much might be too much, or what the effects are.  Has anybody found any sources on this, or better yet experimented with it?

tannins are water soluble compounds. I doubt they can make glue more water resistant. Maybe they can add little more resistence to decay
