Triplets...

... made of Osage.
I`ve just finished 3 Bows out of one triangle shaped splitlog. I`m a little avaricious with Osage, so I made 3 bows of this.
I`ve made an experiment with these and have tillered them without tillering board. They all have the same length, but they are different in their widths and desingns. Dimensions and a fulldrawpic. of everyone will follow.
1 bow- the barkside is the widest. It is decorated with rattlesnakeskinparts. Grip is linen.

The narrowest, closed to the middle of the stave. Only wooden handle, but a sweet shooter.

Great lookin bows, nice use of scrap snake skins. I just don't think you'll be too happy with the first bow and the skins over the tips. The scales are going the wrong way first of all, so everytime you string the bow the string will lift the scales causing a lot of drag, eventually lifting the skin. Just a little advice from my sperience

 Uwe, That's stretching some wood. I like them all, especially the Static recurve.

you've got courage to take on staves like that, amigo!  Nice job.  I'm normally not a fan of the snakeskin backing, but you make it look good.

Yes, I know of this problem. My wife has one too. So we`ve already learnt to use the string carefully.
