First try at a knife
« on: January 23, 2024, 06:11:36 pm »
Started looking at the obsidian I had bought a while back. I hadn’t really even unpacked it. It came wrapped individually in paper inside the box. Found a pretty big piece and thought, what the heck.
Ended up with what I’m calling a knife blade. It ain’t great and has plenty that could be better but for my first try at one and the way other stuff has gone I figured it’s okay. It was quite a bit wider top to bottom but I had a big hump on one side and I finally got it off with indirect.
I wanted to keep trying to fix stuff on it but figured I’d probably just break it so I quit..
Might clean it up and try and fix stuff another day.

As I'm just delving into this rabbit hole. Looks good. Maybe I'll get there one day.

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?
