Had a good day Thursday, been hunting pretty hard and have passed a few smaller bucks while the rut was going strong but this time of year it get tough , things are so open and getting a shot is hard with the stuff we hunt with so I decided it was time and the next legal buck that gave me a shot was going to get an arrow sent his way, well it happened Thursday morning, 6 yards broad side looking the other way, made a prefect shot and he ran about 70 yards 110 lb small 8 point, shot with my old faithful Osage bow, spruce arrow with Ace 160 head, didn't really need Sister to track him but went and got her anyway just for practice and of course her company, she get more excited than I do.
