Well, it isn't an elk, but I finally blooded Big Red.  Double-lunged him, too!   ;D

Thanks, guys!  Easier to pack out, too.  But not much good eating...
Going out again tomorrow through Saturday, probably last chance with a bow this year.  Wish me luck!  I'm about due for some.
