Wooden spoons
« on: July 31, 2022, 08:33:33 pm »
Cranked out a couple of wooden spoons from a Russian crab apple tree in my yard. I think they turned out nice, although I don’t much care for the spalting where the grain turned cream colored.

very nice spoons kidder. well done  :OK
I love spoon carving. so relaxing
what's that socket on the top one?
Is it to lock the spoon on a frying pan? or is it the mouth (and the knot the eye)  ;)

Thanks guys. That’s just a little notch to rest it on a pot or pan. Maybe it turns out handy, maybe not. We’ll have to see.
