ok the bow is 60 inches long
its pulling 55#@ 25
it will shoot a hunting weight arrow 170fps with a b55 string,,
its hickory with thin layer of sinew,, and holds just a bit of reflex,,
I will put a handle on it and take more pics full draw etc,, the sinew is painted with acrylic and I will spray a protective layer of poly over that,, it will hunt in the rain,,

I am not givinig the weight of the arrow,, who ever guesses closest to  the weight can have the bow,,
I will pay shipping,,
I will post winner sat at 12 my time,,
the bow could easy be tillerd to longer draw,,with the sinew backing I would say 28 ,, it might go more,, you could pull it to 26 or 27 without tiller if the weight was ok for you,,

I think post the weight you guess here,, unless someone has a better idea,,

just to be clear you are guessing the weight of arrow that shot the 170 fps,, ;D

475 grains.... cool idea bradsmith  :D... nice lookin bow! what’s your thoughts on the sinew hickory combo? I’ve got some sinew all ready for a bow, but not bow to put it on!
Why must we make simple things so complicated?

I havent worked with hickory in a long time, ,it seems to work very nice with sinew,,
I would have put more reflex in if I had to do it over, but it shoots nice,, it worked a little different than osage,, I guess if I tillered it out further it would be more telling,, and Im in a dry climate,, so hickory likes that,, I read that Jay Massey liked hickory sinew,, overall Im pleased,, I think its a nice combo,,, Ill post some full draw tomorrow,, and handle,,  the stave looked so straight, but ended up having some nice character,, it was a little challenging for me to tiller, Im getting older and slower,, or more picky,, I dont know,, :NN

I think it would go to 30 inch draw, but Im got lazy,,and when it started shooting good I just stopped, figured it would suite someone, or could be tillered out,,further,,

500 grains. Camo job looks really cool. Looking forward to a FD pic.
