Primitive whitetail hunt in South Dakota

Leaving Thursday 10/29/20 for South Dakota for primitive white tail bow hunt,shooting a 45lb at my draw osage bow,homemade steel broadheads,and beetle kill pine arrows fletched with canada goose feathers,need some luck but hope all goes well,Mule

well no whitetail were harmed on my trip to sd,had a shot at a nice 125 or so 5 pt,i just choked but man it was fun and it sure makes you wanna go back,i think the misses make you wanna go back if you just killed all the time it would take the fun out of it(at least thats what im trying to tell myself)it was very warm the bucks were not chasing the does yet (i think i was about a week early oh well live and learn)it was great seeing my family and i stil made a big score i hauled back to colorado a nice erc log 76" long should get aleast 3 bows out of it,looking for suggestions on what style this type of wood lends itself to,thanks Mule
