What is this plant?
« on: August 20, 2020, 09:47:07 pm »
I have a few of these growing in my garden.  It's a fairly large, spreading, radiating plant about 2-3' across.  Tiny, inconspicuous white flowers.  The leaves are about 3" across.  The fruits are berry-like, still green, maybe 1/2" across, and look a lot like tiny pumpkins.

Is it a shrub, vine, perennial or annual? will you post pics of the fruit?

Hi, it looks like it might be mallow.

I'm pretty sure you're right.

Is it a shrub, vine, perennial or annual? will you post pics of the fruit?

Can't tell if it's perennial or annual.  It just came up this year.  It's more like a spreading shrub than a vine.  The stems seem to radiate from a central point.  I'll try to get a close-up of the fruits tonight.  They are shaped kind of like tiny pumpkins, and they divide into radial segments.
