Stormfly
« on: August 01, 2020, 06:21:28 pm »
So recently completed bow number 2. Red oak board with a stiff handle and cork rest. Backed with faux copperhead snake skin. Finished with truoil. 58 inches ttt, 56 ntn. 14lbs at 20 inches. Since it’s for my youngest he picked all the bling for it. And since he’s into “How to train your dragon” and his favorite dragon is “Stormfly”, he chose powder blue and yellow and we named it “Stormfly.” Now I get to try to build something for myself...all fun!

It takes a big bow to kill a dragon!

Neat!  He should grow into it pretty quickly - got to get that elbow up a bit, though!  Plenty of dragons around at any age!

That's quite the dragon slayer. Nicely done.
