My new best friend :-)
« on: June 28, 2020, 02:31:05 am »
Greetings, great and glorious Bowyers!

Let me show you my new bow!  :)

But first and foremost I'd like to say a gigantic thank you for:

BowEd, Del the cat, Ryan Yoon (ryoon4690), bownarra,    willie, Pappy, Pat B, and PaSteve

for their helps and tips. Guys, I will be forever grateful for you!

The bow is 72 inch from tip to tip, it pulls 35 pounds at 26 inch (I tillered up to 27, where is 38 pounds.)

It's just a simple flatbow from and oak board, but this is my first "serious" bow, and I'm very happy about it.   :)

Greetings:

Michael

Very Nice. I’m sure that put a smile on your face and a spark in your soul.

Looks great. Enjoy it with pride! You did a good job on that one. Congrats.

That'll do!

Well done! Glad it turned out well. “Just a simple flatbow” has been putting meat on the table for thousands of years.  ;)

Very good. More people should start with a straight forward bow like that. Well done.
