ok I apologise for not having more pic,, this skin just looked so nice I wanted to share,, it was a really big timber rattler, I cut it down the middle,, thats why the pattern doesnt show,,I think the reason the color looks so vibrant is I used an art product that I use for painting to put the skin on,, its liquitex heavy gel medium,, if you put it over paint it will enhance the color,, and its gloss, I have used it to glue rawhide on bows as well,, , anyway,, the bow has a really snakey profile front and side,, so far it is not to full draw and looks really funky,,,it is 48 inches long...its about 50# @ 17,,, that would make it about 65@23,, I cant draw it, Im a bit out of shape,,
I will take the weight down a bit and go to 24 inches,, it has one layer of sinew, it is not reflexed,, I am giving it as a gift and was afraid someone might try to string it backwards if I reflexed it,, when I get the weight down I will post more pics,, thanks for looking,,
