To cut to the chase, I won the 50# ELB class
The distances were well down due to strong head winds, damp weather and an uphill shot.
I also shot my little Osage flight bow, which they classed an an ALB (despite it being too short!
) as that was the nearest appropriate class which they were hosting.
I won that too
, actual distances haven't been published yet, but some people were saying their distances were 90 yards down on last year!
It just gives me an idea that I'm in the right ball park.
I had the added excitement of overdrawing a 26" flight arrow into the belly of the little Osage
It exploded spectacularly and the string sheared a bit off the overlay, but the bow seems fine. (you can see the dink in the belly in the pic)
