Arrows i made from Sitka Spruce shafts
« on: April 22, 2019, 07:35:06 pm »
Spine matched and mass weight matched.  I processed the turkey feathers, wrapped both ends with sinew and also sinew around the self nocks i cut in.  The shafts are tapered at the rear and some are tapered at the front too.  I like how they came out when completed with the art.

So tedious but worth it. From beginning to completion.

Very nice  arrows, NorthHeart. I got some of Wayne's Sitkas too and they are spot on shafts. I made one set and have another dozen to go.

Very nice!  I got to  get some of TSA's Sitka shafts!  Those should last you a while!  Got to finish the tax stuff first, an straighten the red osier shoots that ad in the works, and get the Osage bow for Little Fiddle Woman finished. Great looking arrows!

They look just as good as when I saw them on FB. Congrats!
I like the nock locator you painted on.
