so i have a bunch of silver birch that i got from these people who cut down 2 of their trees and the bark doesnt want to budge, should just have patience or is there a shortcut. will it just start to pop off with age?

If it was cut before it's growing season you'll have to remove it with a draw knife and elbow grease. When was it cut and how was it handled since then?

cut yesterday and no glue or anything to seal, they're about five and a half feet long
