My Presentation Pole
« on: January 17, 2019, 05:11:35 pm »
I've gotten ask to and volunteered to give presentations. My buddies DJ and Randy helped me harvest several Cedar saplings and make a rough prototype. Then Randy and I took a draw knife, scrapper and sand paper to them. Randy really got into it and worked on it even when I had other things I was taking care of. Two coats of poly acrylic, rawhide bindings and red osier shoots for pegs.

I plan on lots of additions in the near future. I'm seeing lots of ways to hang things.

I'll give it a Bjrogg touch.

This one is going to be a work in progress and adaptable to my needs. I'm already thinking a need a shorter horizontal pole for certain transportation situations.

Here's the foundation.

I don't mind at all Rob. I'd be honored. I'm thinking the forged campfire tool kit would look real nice hanging on there

I love it. Perfect for presenting primitive bows. Makes me want to just grab one and get to shootin'  (SH) :G

Thanks Jeff. That's the idea. I'm seeing quivers, points and neck knives hanging to. Also see a hanging shelf from center of tri pod for some stuff and of coarse lots more fur. This is just stuff I had hanging around the shop.

Good looking set up Brian. I can see that standing in front of your trailer at Marshall.

You might be able to make a spliced pole, and pin it to get her with the red osier pegs.   Nice set up!

Thanks Jon. I'm thinking it might be the shorter horizontal pole version. Not sure if I can pack this one in camper. Always need space to transport everything there and bring back all the supplies I get.
