I got lucky once

this was a heated gravel slab I was playing around with.
Broke about an inch off the tip and rock is a little over cooked but it was fun.

Looky there  ;D, that first flute followed directions pretty well, the second one give out and released before I had hardly any pressure built up and got off to a bad start and didn't go very far.
I guess this is another one I'll have to glue in the case so nobody can pick it up and see the bad side  >:D

Very nice thickness and convexity before you fluted. Nice job even though the flutes are different lengths. Either side could be side A on this one.

Too bad this ain't baseball! .500 would be a good average!  The rest of the flute won't come off in sections?  Newbie question there!

Thanks
Getting a flute with a solberger jig is easy really.
Having  control of the flutes is not

Hawkdancer, theres no chance of getting the rest of that flute to come off.
That's where the energy stopped and you can't put enough force back into it to make that flute continue on.
