I've heard they taste great braised in a nice tomato sauce.

Oh he's so cute.
Darn them buggers. My buddy Gary in the wheelchair was up to 154 confirmed kills last week.

No good sumguns anyway. My brother in law has a picture of one 15 feet up an oak tree. I wouldn't have believed without a picture. His home area flooded and that's what he did to survive. Not in my yard! I would have knocked him out of that tree stone dead! Working dairy farms as a young man I formed a very strong disdain for them.

Dang Eddie, I just threw one out my kid had on his wall for 10 years. Not sure it would have been good for much now. It was pretty dried out.

I too don't have any love for these pests/garden thieves.
My neighborhood is infested. Most folks have women and
kids that think they are cute. Back when I was a kid a farm
hand at the farm I worked at got the quick turn end of his tractor
stuck in a hog hole and it turned over on him. He was trapped under
as the gas leaked out the tank and ignited from the still running engine.
The rag sheet photographers took pic of his claw marks trying to ecxcape
his death. Sad

Eddie The hides are great, The fur buyer back in jersey used
to get vests made from groundhogs. They could pass for grey fox.
No promises about getting you some but I will keep you in mind.
What would you do with them?

They are definitely fit to eat. Haven’t had any since I was a teenager but I sure did like them growing up.

Eddie what are you looking for in hides? Rawhide with hair on? Rawhide hair off? Tanned hair on? Tanned hair off?
I have a buddy in a wheelchair chair that gets over 200 hogs a year. I've been thinking about making some hair off rawhide but really busy this time of year and my buddy just wants to drop off the hogs. If I get enough time to skin a few I might be able to do some for you. They might be cute but they sure make a mess with all their digging.
